Hmmmm... is there a way around this? What are the consequences of changing
the fully qualified name to domain.com from mail.domain.com?

This is a need for obvious reasons...

The global "Reply-To" only works on the IMail database. If
you are using
the NT or external database, it will let you set it... but
it won't do
anything. It won't change existing users, or ones that you
add later. Same
                thing happened to me.
