Well, our story isn't as good as the trial-version-on 36MB server one, but our recently-deceased server was a P-II 233MHz machine with 128MB RAM and a single 4GB hard disk. This was: PDC, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Macintosh UAM, Netware Gateway, and IMail server (including web messaging) for 650 users, and hosted not only the emails, but the Office 98 distribution point, Macintosh-to-Windows temp file storage, and all the user profiles! Ouch! An upgrade or two later, and it's ready to become the internet gateway virus scanner and authentication master. --Cal Frye, Western Reserve Academy, Hudson, Ohio "When all else fails, follow instructions."
