It is true. Since IMail handles the users itself (they are not logging on and using
NT file/print services), it shouldn't require a CAL.
However, if you are using NT workstation, there was (is?) a limit of 10 simultaneous
TCP/IP connections. So only 10 users could be connected at a time. However, it would
be hard to hit 10 simultaneous users if you have a low user count (if 100 people are
checking POP3 every minute, and each connection takes about 2 seconds, you're dealing
with an average of about 3 users connected simultaneously; same goes with SMTP/web
that are not sustained connections).
