Brian,
I definitely would buy IMail again. When I first installed it...everything
went fine and simple. I had a few quirks to work out but that was resolved
quickly with the help of both the list & Ipswitch's IMail support. I also
bought the Service Agreement contract which helps for phone support on those
hard to solve issues.
If I had to do this again I would go with IMail especially for 50 users.
We're at over 250+ and it's working well and so are their list server
feature of the product.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Would you buy iMail again?
Hello. We've been evaluating several e-mail servers to run under NT
(now 4, soon 2000) to support about 50 users. This is to replace use
of the Eudora Worldmail server, which has numerous flaws.
We've basically come down to choosing between iMail and NTMail, and are
leaning towards iMail due to its support for SSL for Web access (NTMail
currently lack this), but have some reservations due to a few problems
we've had with iMail (main one that remains is that when a delivery failure
message is to be sent to user on the system, the message is being placed
in the queue for later delivery rather than being delivered to
the user immediately).
>From the traffic on this site, it seems that many of you are pretty happy
with iMail (and the support and updates that are provided with a contract),
but others seem not so satisifed.
So - it would be very helpful if anyone willing could write back to me and
tell me if they'd license iMail again, or if they wish they had selected
another product, and why. I can summarize responses to the group.
Thanks,
Brian
