Angel, you never give up a chance to defend Microsoft when you have the
chance. Someone makes an off-comment and it's away we go! and you always
have a reply, I remember a private conversation with you that it could have
gone on for days if I just didn't give up, there is no talking to you about
Microsoft. Doesn't matter that there are tons of people who say the sames
things as troy has.
I mean, my servers have to have scheduled reboots just to keep them running,
others have told me I'm lucky that I only have to reboot them every two
weeks.
Media-house technologies exposes a bug which requires you to reboot your
servers at a minimum of 49 days.
(http://www.mediahouse.com/statisticsserver/faq/#notrack) I see sp6 must fix
that problem but how long has it existed up until this time?
The last time I rebooted my linux server was February, and that was only
because I had made significant IP changes and wanted to reboot the server
because of it.
I don't know why I bother writing this though because you're just going to
come back with a rebuttle about how I or my staff doesn't know what they're
doing and are text-book MCSE's and don't have the knowledge you have, etc.
I would LOVE to know how long YOUR servers are up before they crash, how
often you have to fix problems.
Okay, I'm done, and as Troy, My opinions may not be the same as my company.
Ut, got to go, crisis happening in the other room! (I work from home.)
