I think with ours, honestly it's because there are some custom dll's that
have been coded. They are stepping on the memory of some of the other
processes. The server actually goes down once every two or three days.  I
have to manually deal with it. The SQL server will run wonderfully for weeks
but it's got nothing on it but SQL.  I reboot it every two weeks because
after about three trying to PCA to the machine is like trying to download a
500 MB file on a 14.4 modem.

The IMail server has a memory leak that nobody can figure out (I've posted
it here several times) and so after about a week of running the smtp process
is taking up over 100 MB of memory. I could stop and start the processes but
I just simply reboot, it's easier just in case the processes don't come back
up after being stopped.
