Hi,
I'm having a bit of a 'mare with our IMail servers when I bind lots of IP
addresses to the servers.
The server is a Windows 2K member server, IMail 6.03, SQL authentication
using Mike Nice's latest DLL and no other services. Upto ~230-240 IP's the
server local delivers perfectly, as soon as I go beyond this the server
starts queuing all mail sent to local domains and no amount of mail queue
running will convince the server to shift the mail.
The log entries look like they normally do except that they do not include
the ldeliver line which would normally hint that the mail was being
delivered. Does anyone have an idea of more diagnostics that can be done, I
have tried sending a mail using Imail1.exe which also got queued.
Does anybody have a similar setup that is working?? I know this works on NT
4 with IMail 4.07 with 512 IP's however that is so old that it barely
relevant.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Steve
