Kirk,
This might sound strange, but the symptoms are as if there are 2
domains that share the same name (OHN) or Alias! If you connect to
the domain that does not have that user, you will get the 'unknown
user' error msg.
But you have to 'get' to the right host, too, so DNS is a concern.
Most 'domain.com's' resolve to the IP of the Web Server, but
mail.domain.com usually resolves to a different IP. If MX is not
right, well, email won't route correctly.
How about you tell us the real domain and user name, for the problem
domain and the Primary IP address and hostname for the IMail
computer? With that we can tell a lot!
