I'll refrain, as my opinion could be biased; I'll answer some questions
though...

Yes, Declude must be installed on the same machine as IMail. If you wanted
to use two machines and have mail come in to the box running Declude and
forward to an IMail machine, you would need two copies of IMail.
However, if you want to have a second box running something other than
IMail, you can have it forward to the IMail server, and Declude can still
run all its spam tests (even though the remote machine isn't connecting
directly to it). The CPU load would end up on the IMail server, which
partially defeats having two machines. But, the CPU load of Declude
JunkMail isn't too bad (although little time testing has been done so far
with the heuristics piece).

Yes, Declude does support MAPS and ORBS, as well as Osirusoft's little-known
database ( http://relays.osirusoft.com/ ). It also can check to see if the
sender's E-mail address is on a valid domain. Other tests will follow.
> Have these guys been around the IMail community for a while?
Relatively speaking, not that long. I have been on this list only since
about February. You can check the archives (most posting through
[EMAIL PROTECTED]) to get an idea of my knowledge of IMail. My company
has been around since '92, though, and wrote a program called "Spam Stopper"
for Worldgroup systems (anyone remember those?) about 4 years ago, as well
as WebLines which a few people here may remember.
If you have any questions you'd like me to answer, feel free to ask.
