Maybe next upper management will not have the money to pay you.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Administrative web access gone?

Dear list,

Just recently I found out that in fact there was a 4.08 patch to cure the
various DOS problems with version 4 of Imail. At the time we were running
4.07, but after applying the patch, I am no longer able to access the
administrative web access site. Does anybody know what is going on with
this. I have changed the default port of web messaging from 8383 to 80 so
that our internet users could just type in the FQDN of the mail server and
not have to specify a port number to check their messages. I did not change
the default port number (8181) for the administrative web access and a port
scan bears out the fact that it no longer seems to exist. Any thoughts or
help you can give would be most appreciated!!! :)

BTW, I have asked upper management repeatedly to allow me to upgrade to the
current version of IMail, but to no avail, so I am stuck trying to fix v.4!
:(
