We're using Imail 6.06 on NT4 sp6a, so it's not only w2k. And it's not the
network card, I have tried three different cards with the same result.

I am also having this error. Ipswitch said that it might be the network
card. This is on Imail 6.06

Well that first occurred when I upgraded my mail server to a P4 on a Intel
850GB MB running on W2KAS SP2 with onboard NIC. So I then installed a Intel
Pro100+ PCI NIC. The problem still occurred so I then installed a Kingston
NIC and still have the problem.

I believe the problem to be some sort of issue between Imail and W2K since
it only occurs when I check my mail. I have no users complaining and cannot
find any other occurrences of the net read error message except when I check
my mail. This is from a LAN based workstation. And the problem only
manifests itself when sequentially checking multiple pop accounts on the
same server. If I do each pop account individually it works fine and
retrieves all messages. It is only when I check all accounts does it occur
randomly in the 2nd through 5th account. Example: 1st acct ok, 2nd fails,
3rd ok, 4th ok, 5th fails.

I am going to upgrade to soon to 7.03 in hopes that it will correct the
issue.

Mike
