hi dan, I figured it was an error at his end, because it was an error I have
never heard of before... I have asked him to re-install his mail client. As
for the test, there was nothing other than his uid presented. And as for the
logs, well this is a test box, and there are only a few users, and the logs
are pretty small, and there were no errors associated with his UID. And I
have instructed everyone to use SMTP AUTH. I'm 99% sure it is on his end....
we will see. If I find anything out, I will post here.

d,

This is not an IMail error that I recognise, so I'm guessing it is an error
number from the client he is using. Sorry, I have no idea what it might mean
(not that familiar with Macs). If there is any text that goes with the
error, that might be more helpful. As would logs from both the server and
client, when attempting the send.

If you use Relay For Addresses, one would normally enter all the IPs that
users use. If not in Address table, then user needs to use, in their client,
SMTP Auth.
