I just picked one of AOLs MX servers and attempted a message delivery and it
accepted the email address of [EMAIL PROTECTED] I kind of doubt that is a real
username, so this makes me think that their servers are setup to accept any
username. That being the case, the servers would have to deliver or return,
so at least one of those is 'MIA'.
Is still wonder if those having problems are just not getting a 'bounce'
(giving the reason for the failure to deliver) because 'Refuse Null Sender'
is turned on?? Of course, that would not explain why one server can deliver
email and be seen in the user account, and another can deliver, but not be
seen, in the same user account. That does sound more like a
rule/filter/blackhole of some kind.
