Funny you should mention this. I've spent all morning trying to figure out
what I can and cannot delete from the spool folder.
There's a good article in the knowledge base (IMail - Spool directory - an
explanation of files) that lists many of the types. In a paragraph about
T* and D* files this article says "You can delete any files older than 7
days (backup any necessary .log files!) in the spool." I'm not sure if the
comment is limited to T* and D* files or if it means ALL files.
My major curiosity at the moment is all the dratted attachment files --
particularly the huge power point files -- currently cluttering up my spool
directory. Can I safely delete them without incurring the wrath of
users? Why are they there?
