Those are there because IMail web messaging uses the spool directory as a temporary 
directory for uploaded files.  When a file upload fails, the file will often/always 
stay in the spool directory until you delete it.  You can safely delete it if it is 
more than a couple hours old (the only way a user would notice is if you deleted it 
while they were still composing the message).
