[IMail Forum] Domain aliases limit

 Here is the answer to the question about having to add more domain aliases
than the rule 25-255 can permit. This answer was given to me by Ipswitch
tech. support about a month ago:


If you need to add more domain aliases than is allowed, then you can create
a new domain and point this domain to the same top directory. Then use
regedit to copy the users into the new domain. (Note - If you decide to
delete one of the domains, then this could delete all users in both domains.
Make sure you back up your registry.

You will not be able to use domain wildcards. You can have all mail go to
one account in a single domain if you want. You can do this by creating a
nobody alias and pointing it to a single user. You would then have to
retrieve all the mail for that domain through that single account.
