I shut down all services including iwebmsg.exe before beginning the patch.
How does that work then?

Before running the patch, it is advised that you shut down Web Messaging.
The patch has to close each thread down individually if you don't do this.
This can lead to the super long delays some are seeing. Before anyone asks
"why didn't we tell you?", we did on the 1st splash screen in the patch. But
who reads them anyway?
