It does

What do the RFC's say about admins that mess with settings?

Unfortunately, the default settings (on my version at least) specify that
bounce messags are accepted.

Yes it does

Not sure. However, the only people I have ever come accross that are as
rabid as you about RFC's are the ones that have just read them this morning
and haven't got a life yet

You're right, supply these neophytes with IMail instead

Here's a better suggstion, instead of preaching to the choir (hint, this
list is for those that want their systems to work properly) why not MAIL THE
MAIL ADMINS CONCERNED, YOU MORON !!
> Don't just secrete this information away in your knowledgebase:-
Aha, you didn't read it properly, did you? MORON!

Quote
"This means that the option "Refuse mail from NULL Senders" has been
enabled".
Notice the clever use of the word "enabled", that means that it has been
changed, the only other option is disabled, which implies that THE NORMAL
SETTING ALLOWS BOUNCES.
I have a suggestion. Wipe the drool from the keyboard, and quietly leave the
server suite before the Operator gets back and hurts you. And next time
spend as long reading your cited sources as you do tracing your finger along
the line in the RFC's.
Now piss off
