As I said yesterday:
Imail hostname: domain.com
hostname alias: mail.domain.com
>also i was not sure if this is why i cannot email
>certain domains.
you need MX and A records out the gazoo:
domain.com. MX 10 imail.somewhere.com.
mail.domain.com. MX 10 imail.somewhere.com.
domain.com. A ip.ad.re.s1
mail.domain.com. A ip.ad.re.s2
and of course you need MX and A records for imail.somewhere.com.
