I'm wondering what types of servers most of you are running Imail on..
Single CPU, dual, how much memory, NT4.0 or Windows 2000, etc.?
Currently I run a standalone Imail server:
Windows 2000 SP2
Dual PIII 550
256MB Memory
Imail 6.06 with all patches
50 SMTP processes
The problem I run into is CPU usage pegs at 100% when someone sends a bunch
of emails at once (via lists), but memory usage is still low. I'm thinking
about doubling the memory and upping the SMTP process limit and looking to
get opinions on if this is a good resolution.
Thanks,
Dan
