Here is the official word I just got. Seems like either Ipswitch listened
to the newsgroup or they planned it all along. In either case, 30 days to
evaluate the full version before renewing the service contract AT THE OLD
PRICES seems pretty fair to me:

As a service to our existing customers, we will be
offering an extension of current 6.0 pricing of
service agreements $445 for the unlimited user
service agreement) 30 days beyond the release of
IMail Server 7.0 (through July 27, 2001). This
will allow our existing customers the opportunity
to evaluate the great new features and improvements
of version 7.0 before deciding to purchase a service
agreement. This extension is only for existing
customers, new customers will be charged new pricing
as of June 27, 2001. You can save up to $300!
