I'm sure it's starting to be obvious that I'm a new IMail admin as I may be
asking newbie questions, but I am trying to look at the online docs as well
has the help file in IMail.

I want to be able to block .exe files (and probably .vbs along with some
others) for certian users. I also want to forward that edited mail message
with the .exe file to 'holding' mailbox. I saw the online docs on how to do
this but I must be missing something, as I can't get it to work.

This is on a 7.0 IMail lab test server.

1) Created the user 'foo'.
2) Went to rules tab of that user, clicked add.
3) Clicked 'External Text File', typed in filterexe and created it.
4) Went back and highlighted rule and clicked edit and put:

B~name=".*\exe":abusebox

This creates the filenamme filterexe.rul in the c:\Imail\users\foo directory

5) In that users mailbox I created abusebox.fwd file and put the text
"abusebox" in it and saved it.

When I send an email with a .exe attachment it gets to the users mail box
instead of being forwarded to abusebox. Some of the online docs say to
create an .ima file, but I didn't know if they are now called .rul files as
of 7.0?

Thanks for the help
