I suggest that we revise the longstanding recommendation of "relay for 
addresses" (to which I added "tell everybody to do SMTP AUTH"), to be 
replaced by "no relay".

This policy trusts nobody and no ip�s,and  makes all relay abuse traceable 
in the logs because everybody will be have to do SMTP AUTH.

This has no effect on people who are already doing SMTP AUTH.
