Well the update on this problem is that armed with your emails that say it fails and
the wonderful link to tracert.com I bullied the ISP into doing more checking. After
their claims that the firewall was the problem didn't hold up they did more checking
and responded with this email. Thanks everyone

After checking into the problem a little further, there seems to be a
problem with the router that you are connecting to at the other site.
We hope to have this corrected either tonight or tomorrow morning at the
latest.
