As far as Declude is concerned, the Windows version is a waste of money. The command line scanner (that would be used with Declude) in both are identical.
But, you get a license for 20 users, so if you have any other desktops that need some virus protection it is easily worth spending the extra $20 to get the Windows version. I have moved a couple of smallish locations (<50 users) to F-Prot without problems. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the "big boys" but the protection is solid, and at $2/seat you can't beat the price. Declude calls a third party virus scanner. The best one for the cost is F-Prot, DOS version. Cost is $20 per year for a commercial license. Just thought I should point out that Declude offers a solution that requires the user to purchase a 3rd party virus scanner such as McAfee. Perhaps someone could also answer the question as to which anti-virus software is the best, such as McAfee or another choice that works best.
