I have a customer that has Verizon DSL for connectivity. With my other customers, I have them setup the outgoing/SMTP server as the connectivity provider's SMTP server. This has worked in every case (with other providers) until this one. Verizon is telling him that it can't be done and only a Verizon email address can go through their email server. Does anyone have an experience with Verizon and using their SMTP server to send email? Since we have our system shutdown to avoid relays and SPAM, I can't get his email through our server if he uses our SMTP server address -- right?
Thanks. Any help would be appreciated. Bob Ferguson Sound Data, Inc. Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list. An Archive of this list is available at: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/
