That settles this whole issue for me. IPSwitch has hired the wrong people to lead them into 2002. I've see this before. If IPSwitch had stock and I owned any, I would be selling it right now.
Over at PostfixGate, just down the road from y'all we have worked up a feature rich solution that includes the best of the best. We are working on an IMAP/POP3 addition, with web mail, to have a complete e-mail solution for those who might need an alternative. Pricing will be announced at a later date, but it is certainly much cheaper than IMail and associated products. If Declude had a Unix version of their AV scanner, I would have offered that as part of the product, but Scott says they don't plan to add a Unix version yet. Ron at HKSI said the same thing about his Killer Web Templates. Len is offering IMGate for do-it-yourselfers. What my company needed was an open source solution that was easy to install, maintain, secure, and reliable, while offering the current IMail + web template features, and a whole lot more for less money, so we developed the PostfixGate server. For those who are serious about giving up IMail, keep track of the progress at www.postfixgate.com. It would have been really something if Len, Scott, Ron, and myself all were developing this project together. If you just keep looking you'll find a solution that's right for you. Personally I'm a big fan of open source solutions. We solved our problem in getting away from IMail, and hopefully we can do the same for others who are just as dissatisfied.
