You can check using the Spam Database Lookup at http://www.dnsreport.com 
.  There's also a list of the 40+ spam tests at

That is correct.  That's called a "multi-stage" relay, where your server 
acts as a "smart host".  Some of the spam tests list both "inputs" and 
"outputs"; in this case, your customer's mail server would be considered an 
input, and your mail server would be considered an output.
