Actually there is still a problem....I haven't modified any file at all as
it relates to IMail since the 7.x version was released except for patches
and upgrades and it still cancels the upgrade on my system because of an old
file...
What's up with that???

Two things.
1. Stop all Imail Services.
2. When you get that error, move the error window to see what file the
upgrade crapped out on.
In my case, it was my modified odbcuser.dll. Since I always keep a copy
of the original, I put it in place temporarily and re-ran the patch and all
went smoothly. Then I put my modified odbcuser.dll back in place and was
back in service.
My guess is this is your case.
attempting upgrade from 7.04 to 7.05, downloaded the patch, and ran it.
get the following error
"Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No
update done since the file contents do not match."
Suggestions?
