[IMail Forum] SMTP Problems

Hello All! As a lurker on this list for a few years I've read numerous problems with the SMTP server with Imail, always glad that it wasn't us, but now we are confronted with a problem that I can't seem to correct. When attempting to send we're getting a request for a username and password we know is correct but Imail's SMTP server will not accept it, until we restart the SMTP server. I'm running 6.06 as we've been somewhat reluctant to upgrade to 7, even though we have the upgrade as part of our subscription package. Is there a fix and or will upgrading to 7 fix the problem?
