This  would work if the client doesn't mind debugging the command-line
stuff  with  PGP.EXE  and  learning a substantially different means of
sending  form  posts.  Subbing  out  their mail component for a secure
version that does an automatic TLS handshake would be a lot simpler on
their end, but shifts the technical burden to Randy's side for putting
in an SSL gateway. Putting in ASPPGP on the remote would theoretically
be  transparent  to  Randy  and give end-to-end encryption--as long as
they  don't  ask  Randy  for  help with it (which it sounded like they
would),  in which case he's left high and dry without direct access to
the  development environment and might not be too into debugging their
code in any case.

Still, a perfectly reasonable alternative and good counter-suggestion.
