Hello, We are running Imail 7.05 on Win2k Server, p3-600, 256 mb ram, (2) 9Gb SCSI drives in RAID 0/1. Currently we have about 4Gb of free disk space. Adding more disk and/or RAM maybe difficult given we are an state agency with a limited budget.
We serve approimately 150 clients, would like to scale to more if needed (200 or so). We need to implement a virus scanning solution -- our preference is to run the scanning software on the Imail server rather than a seperate server like Norton AV Gateway. I have notice that several people on the list use Declude *and* FPROT -- why use both Declude and FPROT? I have noticed very few people on the list seem to be using the virus scanning solution offered by Ipswitch -- any particular reason to use Declude vs. Ipswitch's solution? Given our server limitations, which anti-virus solution would be most appropriate?
