I don't think many are using the Ipswitch product for several reasons...

1)  It's brand new.  Nobody here knows much about it.  And most people on
this list doing virus scanning already know Scott and Declude.  And that
Declude works very well.

2)  It is expensive.  We paid a few hundred dollars for Declude and have a
site license for McAfee Virus products.  To get the Ipswitch product, it
will cost you between $1300 (250 users) and $6750 (unlimited).  And we have
unlimited users on our Imail server so that would be out of the question.

4)  Ipswitch has a...hmmm...how should I put it..."less than stellar"
reputation for support.  Many might say "non-existent".  I haven't had to
deal with their support much so I can't say more than what I've heard on
this list.  Unlike Ipswitch, Scott almost always gets back to you the same
day with an answer to a Declude question (if not within the hour!).

So I have to say that even though the Ipswitch product *MIGHT* be the best
thing since sliced bread, we all know, love, trust, and can afford Declude.
And it just works.  If Ipswitch were going to give us their product at a
lower price than Declude, I probably would still pass on it.  I rarely see
people posting about Declude problems and I've never seen anyone say
something negative about it.
