Make sure that is SP6a that you are referring to.

When you get the BSOD, what is the error code?

Have you tried looking up the code in TechNet?

Subject: [IMail Forum] ongoing boot problem

Hello -
I posted a questions a couple of weeks ago regarding my upgrade to 7.05.
I'm
running N NT4.0 sp6a. I upgraded from imail 6.06 to 7.05 hf 2. I'm
running
on a Compaq proliant 1850 R server. When I restarted the system, I got
a
blue screen. I had a couple of responses from you guys, and have
replaced
the ram, reinstalled ver 6.06, rebooted - same thing. Then I
reinstalled
7.05 (no hotfix) - I'm still having the same problem. I can still boot
to
the HAL recovery mode and everything seems to be working fine. My
network
adapter card is an compaq netelligent 10/100 embedded. If anyone has
any
other ideas, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Kim
