Subject: [IMail Forum] Customer accused of spamming

One of my customers was reported to spamcop for spamming.

The email that spamcop sent doesn't give any details other than the evidence
of the spam and that they tracked it to my network.

The customer is on a dialup line with a static ip that they use for remote
access between two locations.

I have never had a problem with this customer before and do not really
suspect them of originating the spam. I suspect that they are running some
sort of proxy or vpn/firewall that is misconfigured.

How can I determine the exact nature of the problem so I can contact the
customer and inform them of the problem as I'm sure they really won't know
whht to do?

Are there any web sites that can run a series of spam relay tests that will
give useful info?

I used dnsstuff.com against the IP but didn't get any positive results.

Mike
