Haven't done this, but have looked at using a number of third party apps
to allow for a hybrid list/online forum to support a customers web site..
The forum would allow for the archiving of list messages as well as allowing
list members to search for past messages through their browser. Please note
that there are a number of products out there and that most of the better
ones appear to be *nix based. Project got shelved, and I haven't been back
to it for some time.
