Ah, but it doesn't. In order to get uswest.net out of the picture, *they* must remove themselves from the picture. Your bandwidth provider is in charge of the delegation of the reverse DNS entries; you can't get them removed without them doing it. >However, we still fail the Reverse MX record test at dnsreport.com. Good question. And a common one. Think about it though. If I know your IP is 63.230.118.51, how am I going to find out from Internic what your DNS servers are? You told Internic the DNS servers for varsitycontractors.com, but they don't know that 63.230.118.51 has anything to do with varsitycontractors.com.
