Greg,

As Jason mentioned, you were inordinately lucky to get by with MS Access
handling 6,000 accounts. I agree that, conceptually, using MS Access would
predominantly affect authentication issues (latency in responding) but there
may be other potential side effects. I, for one, would not entrust MS Access
to handle more than a few dozen accounts. If at all possible, change the DB
to the IMail (Registry) one and see whether your problems disappear. If they
do, you have the choice of leaving the setup as such (great) or going to a
full-fledged external SQL database (again, off of your IMail server box),
even though I think that the Windows Registry would handle 6,000 accounts
quite well.

possible elivate some minor problems that I was incurring. I don't see how
the database can cause the problems that I have been having, if the problem
was authentication issues that I would agree but not with the problems in
moving files around, deleting, etc..if I am mistaken please explain as to
how this could be.

until then, as per my original question, is anyone running version 7.1
having any major problems or unsual problems.??

working about these problems then ;?) thanks all for the help.
