Title: RE: [IMail Forum] List Settings, Limitations

Thanks for the response.  This customer will be running their own server with their own bandwidth, etc.  We would have this scheduled to happen at off-peak hours since it's a newsletter for members of this organization.  We could send 300-500 at a time - would this help matters?

Is there a CLI for the lists, or do you just send an email using imail1.exe to the recipient?

Thanks once again,

Carlos M. Perez

Yes, it's possible and worthwhile (if you are paid).  However, I wouldn't
recommend IMail's mailing list for a list that size.

That's actually the number of recipients per E-mail, so you would have 25
processes each handling 3,000 recipients.  As you can see, it will take a
long time to deliver it all (and it can slow down other E-mail on the
server).  If you search the archives, you should find software designed for
larger volume mailings.
