what's crazy is that you are not the only one to see this happen.  when i
did this and it delete a ton of log files I called ipswitch and the said
that i was doing it wrong.  no matter what i did, it deleted files that i
didn't want deleted.  they told me that it was probably something
misconfigured in my system!

so, we wrote a little script that takes care of this kind of stuff.
