what's crazy is that you are not the only one to see this happen. when i did this and it delete a ton of log files I called ipswitch and the said that i was doing it wrong. no matter what i did, it deleted files that i didn't want deleted. they told me that it was probably something misconfigured in my system!
so, we wrote a little script that takes care of this kind of stuff. jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrey Fyodorov" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, May 31, 2002 9:18 AM Subject: [IMail Forum] ISPLCLN > The Imail manual says I should be able to run isplcln -n 7 -l 7 ( I want to > delete all files older than 7 days) > > when I run it like this, it does not do anything > > so I just ran isplcln -l 7 and did not notice any result either > > then I ran isplcln -n 7 and it wacked all the files except those from today > > what kind of a crazy utility is this? > > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html > to be removed from this list. > > An Archive of this list is available at: > http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ > > Please visit the Knowledge Base for answers to frequently asked > questions: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
