If you type "ISPLCLN /?" in a DOS prompt window, one of the lines reads: "-l
Specifies how old a log is before it is deleted."

The "-l 30" parameter really means "delete log files from [within] the past
30 days". So on May 31, it deleted all the log files from May 1st to (and
including) May 30. I agree that this is distinct from deleting files that
are, strictly speaking, 30 days old. Perhaps Ipswitch should add a KB
article mentioning this nuance and include a paragraph in the user guide to
this effect.
