Peter: iwebmsg is a huge performance hit. If one person with a 10MB mailbox connects and reads email, you may see the cpu jump to 50% or more, just for that ONE user.
Check to see if you have some users with large mailboxes. Watch your CPU when users are checking email. If you have antivirus software running real time protection, this can make things worse. Also have noticed that now and again there is no ping response from the server for about 1 minute. We have other servers on the network with significantly more traffic on them with no problem (not running imail however.) > > Has anyone any ideas or even experienced a similar problem ? > > Thanks > > > _______________________________________________________________ > > To get your own free kokomail account visit http://www.koko.com > > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html > to be removed from this list. > > An Archive of this list is available at: > http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ > > Please visit the Knowledge Base for answers to frequently asked > questions: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ > Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
