Hmm, Why de-activate the old account? nothing new will go there but you
still allow access.

Actually I do see a flaw. If I inactivate the existing account and setup a
new one, then the person loses access to all mail on their existing account.

Just curious, can I create the new account, copy the contents of the old
users account to the new account directory and would the maintain the
persons existing account?

so rather than change the existing one, inactivate it, create a new one and
then forward the message to the new account AND send a reply back to the
sender?

thanks Eric! I just tried it and much better. I was worried that it would
leave the message in the original account as well but it does not...cool!

any downsides to this process? Does not appear to be...
