>>the whole problem. Well, it was a nice try. They couldn't figure it out, attributing the error to: 1. lack of ports open above 1024 outbound on our firewall preventing the IMail server from telneting to port 25 on other SMTP servers. I installed the ISA Firewall Client on the server and no problem w/telnet from then on, but the TCP 14 error did not go away and I still can't send mail from the server. 2. They also mingled in that I have an unsupported configuration - mailboxes located on a network share. One tech said that IMail had insufficient permissions to write to the mailboxes share. Hmm...it can write for RECEIVEd mail but not to SEND?? How's THAT work??? IMail SMTP is running w/a domain account w/full permissions to the mailboxes. I'm just lucky this isn't the production server yet. :( Any other suggestions? Thanks!
