> Stack Connect Failures are generated when IMail does a GetHostByName which > queries your TCP stack for the address of the domain specified in the email. > The IP returned is not usually the mail server as it is pointed to via an MX > record. The reason this was done in the 1st place is there was no valid > return from IMail's DNS query which points to a DNS issue.
Ok, I hope you people don't hate me by now, but I'm playing middle man here, Where would I go now to resolve this? We tried rebooting the mail and DNS servers, but I still see the Stack connect failure messages. I've tried the suggestions from the KB, and I can ping out from the mail server, and the correct DNS is listed. We had our b/u DNS listed up to Fri when Ipswitch told us to remove it. Could that be a potential problem?
