I've never put myself forward as a geek who knows how everything works. The reason I thought there was something wrong with the server or the installation was because I was getting many IIS errors that IMAIL help and Ron couldn't explain when I tried to implement Killer LDAP. I do have to test what I implement for what I expect my users to do. When you single clicked the message subject it would show in the preview pane, to see the whole message I assumed that they would double click to open it. If you double click without the preview pain enabled that error doesn't appear, so it was logical for me to assume that I had something askew in my settings. I didn't realize that you would have to click the envelope icon to open it, my bad. They would never get it and all they would do is complain about the error. But I would think there would be coding to account for that, and that was what I was expecting. I didn't realize that made me the cause of the "bubble busting" of the internet.

The management staff would be sitting there double clicking things on the web pages. That's why we call them the DC's (the Double Clickers). Well, the DC's knew so little about the technology, that the dev staff were able to take full advantage of it, and took weeks and weeks to implement a few simple things that really would have taken a few hours, at most, to implement. Meanwhile, the dev staff played alot of foosball, and basically did a hell of alot of goofing off, while getting paid really well, often convincing the DC's to hire more people just so they could have more people to play foosball with. Eventually, the money ran dry because the DC's spent all the money on overpaid and underworked staff, foosball tables, Aeron chairs and other stuff. Plus, the DCs never really understood what it was they were supposed to do in the first place. So, yeah... I blame a lot of the internet bust on the DCs.
