Eudora will open the MBX files as well. As the matter of fact, Eudora names its own email files .mbx.Not quite.
Eudora will open E-mail files that it created, that use an .mbx extension. However, those are in a different file format than the IMail mailbox files (which also use a .mbx extension). Most programs that can open Unix-style .mbx files should be able to open IMail .mbx files (as the format is very similar).
