Well, in *that* case, it definitely would interfere, by design. :) But
this  would  only  apply  here  if  the  messages  are being gatewayed
to/through   MS  SMTP  on  the  same  box--a  setup  which  is  rather
complicated  to make workable at all, and certainly unlikely to be put
in place successfully by a new IMail admin.

Anyway, here's the problem once and for all:

DNS is creating the loop, as we all suggested. Daniel, this is why you
need that IMail's-eye view that I referred to. You're going to have to
learn to go deep.
