There can be a problem with this.... It is possible that the port forwarding
software will be misinterpreted as the source of the email.  So the source
address will change to the local email server and then you will have no
relay protection.

I don't know why everyone thinks this is so hard.  Install TCPrelay (or a
similar program) on your Imail server and set it to relay port 2525 (or
another or multiple ports) to port 25.  This has been covered multple times
on this list.
