NO. Unless you have IIS installed and need the MS SMTP server to be able to
send.

Relay for Addresses is for things like server functions (web forms and
such), Store and Forward, auto sending functions that can not authenticate
(such as SAV Corp notifications) and such.

Forcing people to authenticate who they are and that they have permission to
access is a big advantage.
